Forbes released their annual list of billionaires in America, and some Bay State billionaires made it onto the Forbes 400.

For their 2026 list of the richest people in America, the business magazine saw 34 new people break through onto the rankings, and the minimum net worth on the list rose to $4.4 billion, a sharp increase from 2025's $3.8 billion.

"The wealth gap is widening even among the ultra-rich," Forbes said. "America’s 400 wealthiest people are worth a record $8 trillion on our 45th annual ranking, up from $6.6 trillion a year ago."
