The *Dutton Ranch* team is weighing in on moving on without its creator.

Last month, ahead of the* Yellowstone* spinoff's May 15 premiere, ** confirmed that creator and showrunner Chad Feehan will not return should there be a season 2. *Dutton Ranch* producer Christina Alexandra Voros, who directed the first two episodes, is now reacting to her colleague's departure.

"I think Chad did an exceptional job building a world of adversaries for Rip (Cole Hauser) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) to come up against in this new chapter of their lives," she told ScreenRant. "Any speculation about a season 2 is beyond my knowledge. And I'm grateful to him and his team for creating a world for these characters to move into."

Last week's series premiere comes on the heels of the huge success of the first *Yellowstone* spinoff sequel, *Marshals*. The CBS hit follows Beth's brother Kayce (Luke Grimes) and has already been greenlit for a second season.
