- Glen Powell opened up about a unique fan while appearing on* The Hollywood Reporter*'s comedy roundtable.
- The *Hit Man *actor discussed a woman who eats a photo of his face every day — and will apparently continue to do so until she's cast in a film or show of his.
- Powell met the superfan during the premiere of his film *The Running Man *last November.
Glen Powell has tangled with tornadoes, flown military fighter jets, and even competed in a lethal reality television show (fictionally, of course). However, his most unique encounter might just be in real life with a superfan who eats a photo of his face every day.
During an interview for *The Hollywood Reporter*'s comedy roundtable, which posted online Wednesday, the *Running Man *star revealed how he learned about a fan of his, TikTok creator @mynameismonique, who has been eating a photo of his face every day — and says she will continue to do so until she is cast in one of his films or TV shows as an extra.
"I didn't know this was a thing until it was described to me while I was on the red carpet," Powell shared with fellow roundtable guests Harrison Ford, Owen Wilson, Riz Ahmed, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Zach Braff. The group had been asked what was the wildest thing a fan had come up and said to each of them.
"They're like, 'Hey, the girl that eats your face is on the red carpet.' I go, 'What are you talking about?'" he recounted.**

Monique began her daily challenge in June 2025, and has posted herself eating what she claims are "100% fully edible" photos of the *Anyone But You *star for more than 100 days.
Last November, Powell came face-to-face with the superfan at the U.K. premiere of *Running Man*, with Monique posting a video of the two meeting as he walked down the red carpet. After Powell signed a photo for her, she took a bite out of it. Powell then looked to the camera and said, "This is savage."

In addition to odd fan encounters, Powell has discussed uncomfortable situations with celebrities — including the time he avoided being photographed with a "recently canceled" star.
While on the *Therapuss* podcast in 2025, Powell said he came across somebody at a Hollywood party who "had been on the ropes in terms of getting canceled."
"This person had made some of my favorite movies," Powell shared, adding, "I was like, 'Oh, this is great.' He came up and he said, 'Nice to meet you.' I was like, 'Oh, dude. Such a big fan.'"
While the *Chad Powers *actor was a fan of this person's work, Powell said he didn't feel comfortable taking a photo with them.
"This person was recently canceled, and it was not good," Powell said. "I was a fan of their work but not a fan of their choices. So, I was kind of just being nice. But then, when they wanted to take a picture, I realized very quickly — I was like, 'Oh, I don't know if this is a good idea.'"
