Grizz Chapman, the actor best known for his supporting turn on *30 Rock*, has died.

He died on Friday at the age of 52, his representative Saideh A. Brown told TMZ. She did not provide a cause of death.

Chapman, who stood nearly 7 feet tall, portrayed Grizz, one of the two gentle-giant figures who made up the entourage of Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) on *30 Rock*. He stood alongside Kevin Brown, who portrayed Dot Com, in almost every scene they appeared in on the sitcom. (Chapman is credited in 80 of the show's 138 episodes, while Brown is credited in 84.)

Brown mourned his longtime costar in a brief tribute post on Facebook on Friday. "I regret to inform you that Mack Chapman, a.k.a. Grizz Chapman, passed today," Brown wrote. "May he RIP."

Chapman also appeared on shows like *The Blacklist*, *The Good Fight*, and *Blue Bloods*.
