Jennifer Garner’s kids have a nickname for their mom, and it is not what you would expect. During an interview with Elle, she revealed what her children call her. Furthermore, she admitted that she finds it funny rather than disrespectful. For those unversed, the actress has three kids, Violet (20), Seraphina (17), and Samuel (14). She shares them with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.

Jennifer Garner recently revealed that her kids have nicknamed her “the Crone.” The 54-year-old appeared in a joint interview for Elle and talked about her children with her “Five-Star Weekend” co-star, Chloe Sevigny. In a YouTube Short, the “Daredevil” star said, “My kids call me The Crone, and it cracks me up,” and laughed.

Sevigny gave a shocked expression but soon changed it after realizing that the mother of three was telling a funny story. Meanwhile, Garner elaborated on why she finds being called a “crone” funny. She said, “I’ll hear them talking about me, and they’ll be like, ‘Where’s the Crone?'” The actress seemed excited while telling the anecdote to her fellow actress.

Moreover, Sevigny tried to ask if the term came from somewhere. In response, Garner claimed she didn’t know and hinted that she didn’t mind. “But I just think when kids make fun of parents together, and they are bonded in it, or when kids make fun of you with love…,” Garner explained.

It seemed the mother of teenagers enjoyed how her children were bonding at the expense of their parents. Furthermore, Garner justified it by saying that she wouldn’t have accepted the nickname if her kids were near the age of Sevigny’s 6-year-old.

“Being called The Crone is really one of my favorite things,” the “13 Going 30” alum concluded. In addition, her co-star playfully highlighted that things only get “worse” if parents feed into their kids’ jokes.
