Jordan "Jutes" Lutes and Demi Lovato celebrated one year of marriage by posting sweet tributes to each other on Instagram

The pair are spending their first wedding anniversary apart due to their respective touring schedules

Demi Lovato and Jordan "Jutes" Lutes are celebrating one year of marriage.

In honor of their first wedding anniversary on Monday, May 25, Lovato, 33, and Lutes, 35, shared sweet tributes to each other on Instagram.

"Happy one year anniversary to my wifey! It’s crazy to think a year has gone by already, and somehow I love you even more than I did a year ago," Lutes wrote. "You’re SO clearly my soulmate and the best friend I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to see you and devour your face. I love you beyond words baby 🖤."

He added on his Instagram Stories, "Best year of my life all thanks to u @ddlovato 🖤."

The couple previously revealed that they must spend their first wedding anniversary apart due to their respective touring schedules. Lovato is scheduled to perform May 25 at the Toyota Center in Houston as part of her "It’s Not That Deep"tour. Meanwhile, Lutes is scheduled to perform May 25 at Melkweg in Amsterdam, Netherlands, as part of his "Far From Dilworth" European tour.

Lutes posted 15 photos with the "Cool for the Summer" singer, including several shots from their wedding day. The pair tied the knot last year in Santa Barbara, California. Other photos included loved-up moments from their home and getaways. One shot was of them embracing on stage when they gave a special performance of their wedding song, Goo Goo Dolls' 1998 hit "Iris," during a New York City concert in April.

In her own post, Lovato shared 20 loved-up photos with Lutes.

"1 year married to the one i love the most, my best friend and my favorite human @jutesmusic," the Camp Rock star wrote. "365 days ago i stood across from u reciting my vows, thinking it wasn’t possible to love u anymore than i already do, but here we r a year later, and somehow i love u even more than that."

She continued, "This has been the best year of my life. it’s the snuggles in the mornings, random slow dances, leaving parties early to go get taco bell together, nights staying up way too late laughing our asses off til we cry, doing goofy s--- trying to out-weird each other that made this year so special for me. these r memories i cherish and cannot wait to make more of. i love u so much.. happy anniversary baby!! 💞💞💞."

Lovato and Lutes went public with their romance in 2022, and got engaged the following year.

Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE in February, Lovato shared that she loves her musician husband "more and more" every day.

"I genuinely thought on my wedding day, 'I can't love this man any more than I already do.' And then a few weeks, months go by, and I'm like, 'Oh, my God, I thought that I was maxed out on love and now I'm maxed out on love,' " she said. "And it's just like every day, I just love him more and more. And I didn't know that was possible."
