- *Love Story *creator Connor Hines has another famous couple in mind should there be a second season of the limited series.

- Hines suggests a chronicle of Hollywood royalty for the yet-to-be-confirmed season 2.

- "They have the right intensity," he said of the famously combustible pair.

As *Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette* comes to a close, the series' creator has his eye on another couple.

Although a second season of the FX series has yet to be confirmed, Connor Hines thinks he knows another famous relationship that would fit the *Love Story *template. "Maybe Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton," he recently told *Vanity Fair*. "They have the right intensity."

Taylor and Burton had a famously tempestuous relationship that made headlines for more than a decade, beginning with the affair they struck up on the set of 1963's *Cleopatra *— the first of 11 movies they'd make together. At the time, Taylor was on her fourth marriage, to Eddie Fisher, while Burton was married to his first wife Sybil Williams.

In March 1964, Taylor divorced Fisher, Burton's marriage dissolved, and the actors got married. "I've always admitted that I'm ruled by my passions, and I can't pretend I didn't know what I was doing when I became involved with Richard," Taylor wrote in her memoir *Elizabeth Takes Off*.

The couple traveled the world and were known for their gratuitous spending habits, along with their constant arguments. They divorced months after their 10th wedding anniversary in June 1974, but would wed again in October 1975. Their second marriage was brief; the "Battling Burtons" divorced for a second time in July 1976.

"Even though there were rough times, I wouldn't give up one minute of my time with Richard Burton," Taylor wrote.**
