Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's status within the Royal Family was made clear last week, with King Charles confirming they would continue as non-working royals following their UK return.
The letter, issued on the King's behalf, further specified the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should be regarded as private citizens in Britain and refrain from using their HRH titles.
Just days following the letter's publication, Uganda declared its withdrawal from the Invictus Games, announcing it wouldn't take part in any event without King Charles' endorsement. Royal commentators Robert Jobson and Angela Levin examined these developments with TalkTV presenter Jeremy Kyle, who suggested the Sussexes' actions are "designed to manipulate." It comes as Prince Harry and Meghan just made their maddest demand yet - King won't have it.

Angela concurred, contending the couple's upcoming decisions could carry substantial ramifications for King Charles.
"I think that this whole thing is a game for them," she stated. "They're going to punish the king because they feel that he's let them down when actually, it's those two who haven't done terribly well for themselves."

She characterized the circumstances as "extremely upsetting" for King Charles, noting, "If you had a father who was in his late 70s and had cancer, you would be nice and pleasant, but they are not.
"They're driving him mad, I'm sure, and he has to keep away and he has to make sure that everything is not done in a terrible manner." Robert contended that King Charles had little option other than to release the letter, implying Harry and Meghan seek recognition as Royal Family members.
He stated, "The King had to do what he did because there was a mission creep going on. Their overworked spokesman has come out and said quite straightforwardly they are public figures, they want to be acknowledged as members of the royal family.
"I think there's an agenda going on behind the scenes that we're not stupid. I'm sure both Angela and I and many others can see exactly what's going on, that it's all part of a bigger plan to attack the King the way he did."
He maintained that "the King is simply restating the facts", before asserting that the Sussexes continue trying to capitalize on their royal connections.
