Prince William and Queen Camilla reportedly agree on one thing about Prince Harry. Sources claimed that both believe Harry must earn back their trust before any real reconciliation can happen. Although Camilla reportedly supports King Charles‘ efforts to repair his relationship with Harry, insiders claimed she remains very guarded after years of public family tensions.

According to palace sources who spoke to Naughty But Nice, Camilla wants peace for her husband’s sake. One insider claimed Camilla has watched the royal family’s divisions unfold in public and wants to support any genuine attempt to heal those wounds. “Camilla wants peace because she loves Charles.”

“She’s watched this family fracture in public, and if there’s a chance to heal it, she’ll stand behind her husband. But forgiveness doesn’t erase memory, and she hasn’t forgotten what Harry has said and done,” the insider added.

The insider alleged that Camilla has not forgotten Harry’s past criticism of the royal family, particularly the way he portrayed her in his memoir Spare. Another source claimed Camilla worries Harry could once again speak out publicly if future disagreements arise.

According to the insider, her biggest concern is protecting the King from experiencing another emotional setback. “She’s convinced Harry could turn on the family again the moment things don’t go his way. Her priority is protecting the King from another round of heartbreak.”

Behind palace walls, insiders claimed that Camilla has worked to build a stronger relationship with Prince William because she knows his future role as king. A royal source said Camilla understands that William will one day become king.

The source claimed she wants to keep his respect because he will influence her place in the monarchy after King Charles’ reign. “Camilla understands how this story ends. One day William will be King. She wants his respect now because he’ll ultimately shape her place in the institution after Charles.”

The insider added that William and Camilla have grown closer in recent years because they share similar concerns about Harry. “Nothing has strengthened their bond more than their caution about Harry. Neither believes one meeting wipes the slate clean. Trust has to be rebuilt, and they don’t think Harry is there yet.”
