Prince William has reportedly closed the doors entirely to any chances of a reunion with his younger brother, Prince Harry, as he feels that their bond is “broken beyond repair.”

According to a report by Radar Online, insiders close to the family have revealed to the publication that William sees Harry’s reconciliation motives as “selfish and cynical” rather than a genuine attempt to mend their conflict.

Speculation about a reunion began after the Duke of Sussex’s recent visit to the U.K. to mark the one-year countdown to the 2026 Invictus Games, during which he and his wife Meghan Markle also reunited with King Charles along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

During the visit, the Sussexes met the King and his wife, Queen Camilla, for around an hour, but there were no signs of them having any reunion with William and Kate Middleton.

Prince William Reportedly Does Not Wish To Reconcile With Prince Harry

Reportedly, the Prince and Princess of Wales were busy with their public engagements in Scotland during Harry’s stay in London. The insider familiar with the situation revealed to the publication that William has no intention of “reopening the old wounds” by meeting his younger brother.

The source said, “William believes trust has been broken beyond repair and sees recent reconciliation efforts as being driven by Harry’s own interests rather than the family’s. From his perspective, there is simply no appetite for reopening old wounds.”

The insider added, “There is a feeling that every gesture now is viewed through the lens of past interviews, memoirs and documentaries. That has made any meaningful reconciliation incredibly difficult.”

Journalist Maureen Callahan also revealed on Sky News that Prince William is no longer interested in reconciling with Prince Harry. The Royal commentator also claimed that any chance of Harry gaining a place within the Royal family will have to come without the presence of his wife, Meghan Markle, whom she accused of alleged “fakeness and inauthenticity.”

Royal Commentator Lashes Out at the Sussexes

Callahan told host Danica De Giorgio, “William wants nothing to do with Harry.” She also alleged that the Harry & Meghan star’s attempts to patch up with the Royal Family are a “selfish, cynical ploy to save his own skin.”

On the possibility of the Spare author having a chance to find a place within the Royal Family again, the Royal commentator said, “It was briefed that Meghan would be joining Harry last week in the UK for the entire week with the children. In fact, she only showed up at the very end of the week. No photos were taken of Meghan, which, she argued, undermined their claims that they can’t possibly return to the United Kingdom without royal security because the press won’t leave them alone.”

The comments appeared to reference speculation that claimed that Harry and Meghan were unhappy with their security and accommodation arrangements, making them reluctant to visit the UK.

The Nerve with Maureen Callahan host also alleged that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cannot claim to seek privacy after they chose to appear in a Netflix documentary, with the former also penning a memoir in which they discussed family disputes and controversies within the royal family.
