Over 30 years of Baltimore Ravens football, the Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts have developed a surprisingly rich history. The two franchises have met 18 times, including three postseason clashes. The Colts own an 11-7 advantage in the all-time series.
Indianapolis won the first two playoff meetings before the Ravens claimed the most recent postseason showdown in January 2013. The last meeting ended in an overtime loss for Baltimore, although the Ravens had won three straight against Indianapolis before that result.
This time, Baltimore enters Week 1 as a road favorite. They hope to begin a new era under head coach Jesse Minter with a victory and a 1-0 mark in the AFC. Still, questions remain about whether those additions are enough to transform the unit immediately.
With Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers and an offense that has spent months talking about explosiveness, Baltimore should generate chunk plays throughout the afternoon. Expect the Ravens to finish comfortably above the 400-yard mark.

Anthony Weaver's unit faces a difficult challenge in Jonathan Taylor, but Baltimore's defense has spent the entire offseason emphasizing speed, communication, and swarming to the football.
