Fans know Rod Stewart as a rock legend, but at home, he's often in grandpa mode.
The British rocker and dad of eight became a grandfather in 2011, when his second-eldest daughter, Kimberly Stewart, welcomed daughter Delilah Genoveva Stewart Del Toro. It was Rod who publicly announced his first grandchild's name to the world in an interview with USA Today at the time of Delilah's birth.
"I'm a grandfather now," Rod said, per E! News. "I've been going around blabbing that out for hours now."
His family has expanded over the years and he now has several other grandchildren. In May 2023, Rod's daughter, Ruby Stewart, welcomed son Otis with fiancé Jake Kalick. In May 2026, she announced on Instagram that they are expecting their second child.
The musician's son, Liam Stewart, welcomed two children — son Louie and daughter Elsie — with his wife, Nicole Stewart. In March 2025, Kimberly shared she was expecting her second child, though she has yet to announce her baby's arrival.

Rod became a first-time grandfather when his daughter Kimberly welcomed Delilah Genoveva on Aug. 21, 2011, which just so happened to be her own birthday. Kimberly shares Delilah with ex Benicio del Toro.
In April 2014, Kimberly shared a sweet photo of Rod and Delilah holding hands on Instagram, writing, "Grandad and D talking football."

The Stewart family had a reunion in May 2024 when all eight of Rod's children attended Liam and Nicole's wedding. Louis was 1 year old at the time and in attendance as his parents tied the knot.
Following the event, Rod shared a photo on Instagram of the Stewart and Artukovich families together outside of the St. Ignatius Church in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
"I’m immensely proud to have witness the beautiful wedding ceremony of my son Liam to his bride Nicole," he wrote. "What a wonderful union of The Stewart’s and The Artukovich’s. May they continue to find joy, love and laughter for as long as they may live and produce many more baby’s to join their little 1 year old boy, Louie."

Rod's fourth grandchild, Liam and Nicole's daughter Elsie Skylar, was born on March 2, 2025. A few weeks later, Rod and wife Penny Lancaster posed with their newborn granddaughter.
"So proud to meet little Elsie, what an angel," Lancaster wrote on Instagram. "Nicole, Liam and Louie have their baby girl joining them in their new home and how harmonious they are 🩵🤍💗."
