Jeremy Allen White voices Rotta the Hutt, Jabba's son
The Mandalorian and Grogu features a star-studded cast — but fans may not recognize some of them in costume.
While Pedro Pascal's face will, thankfully, not be hidden underneath his iconic Mandalorian helmet for the entire film, Jeremy Allen White is identifiable only by voice as Rotta the Hutt. The actor told Empirein March 2026 that he learned to speak "a little bit of Huttese" to play Jabba's equally gigantic slug son.
In addition to White and Pascal, Sigourney Weaver also stars in the movie — which is a continuation of The Mandalorian television series — as a new character to the franchise. As the leader of the New Republic's Adelphi Rangers, she'll work alongside Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu to "protect everything the Rebellion fought for," per the official logline.
Curious how these Star Wars stars match up to their galactic roles? Keep reading to see the cast of The Mandalorian and Grogu side-by-side with the characters they play.
