On March 26, Taylor Frankie Paul posted two Instagram Stories expressing gratitude, though both were deleted from her page hours later
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen are involved in multiple domestic violence investigations
After a leaked 2023 video showed Paul acting violently toward Mortensen with her daughter present in the room, ABC canceled Paul's already-filmed season of The Bachelorette, which was set to premiere three days later
Taylor Frankie Paul expressed her appreciation for those supporting her in since-deleted social media posts.
On Thursday, March 26, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star shared a photo of a sunny landscape on her Instagram Stories and wrote a meaningful message in overlaying text. "Thank you to every check in, call, prayer sent," Paul said in the caption. "Your unconditional kindness and check in can be someone's life line."
A following Stories post — which was also deleted hours later — from March 26 showed an open notebook sitting on a table beside a bouquet of flowers. Paul wrote, "Ending every single night with gratitude even if it's just ONE glimmer."
Her social media activity came amid allegations of a third domestic violence incident involving Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. A spokesperson for the West Jordan Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that there is an "active domestic violence case" involving Mortensen and Paul and that he submitted video to police that the department believes was filmed in "early-to-mid 2024." Police are actively reviewing the video as part of the open investigation.
A spokesperson for the local Utah police department told PEOPLE that Mortensen contacted authorities at the end of February and that he spoke to police about the case in the “middle of last week,” but could not share specific dates. The spokesperson added that the department was “hopeful” to speak with Paul but did not have an interview time scheduled.

NBC News first reported the West Jordan Police Department’s investigation on March 24. Neither Reps for Paul nor Mortensen commented to PEOPLE on the West Jordan Police Department's investigation.
Amid the news of the investigation, a source close to Paul tells PEOPLE, "Dakota has a pattern of provoking Taylor, filming her when she starts to react and threatening to leak the videos to ruin her image. They're totally misleading as they make Taylor look like the problem by cutting out everything Dakota did to cause the situation in the first place." PEOPLE has reached out to Mortensen for comment.
Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill told PEOPLE on March 25 that his office was "aware" of the allegations in West Jordan and that they were of interest as Paul remains on probation for separate domestic violence charges brought against her in 2023.
A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE on March 16 that there was an ongoing "domestic assault investigation" regarding Paul and her ex, with allegations "made in both directions."

On March 19, ABC canceled Paul's season of The Bachelorette days before it was set to premiere after TMZ published a 2023 video showing Paul throwing chairs at Mortensen in the presence of her daughter Indy, now 8. That same day, he filed for a protective order against Paul, per court documents obtained by PEOPLE. A hearing has been set for April 7.
Paul was previously arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in 2023 following an argument with Mortensen, 33, and faced misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child. She later pled guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault, meaning that if she complies with the conditions of the plea, her charge will be lessened or potentially dismissed. The other charges were dismissed.
After the release of the TMZ footage, her spokesperson told PEOPLE that it was "sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child."
"Releasing an old video, which conveniently omits context, on their son's birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior," the statement read. "Thankfully, the public has seen this act before and knows who he is and sadly, many will recognize this pattern of manipulation, both in his actions on the show, and from their own experiences."
Mortensen then spoke out in a statement of his own, saying, "As anyone who has seen the video will understand, this is a deeply upsetting situation. I am, unfortunately, used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny. I am focusing on our son and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same."
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives notably halted its production on season 5 due to "some pretty serious stuff happening regarding [Paul's] past," a source told PEOPLE.
Paul shares Indy and son Ocean, 5½, with ex-husband Tate Paul, plus son Ever, 2, with Mortensen.
