Tiger Woods is not injured after the golfer was involved in a rollover car crash and charged with DUI and property damage in Florida, authorities said.

Martin County Sheriff John M. Budensiek said at a press conference hours after the crash on Friday that Woods, 50, was not injured in the incident, but was charged with DUI and property damage.

"Mr. Woods did not appear to be injured at all, and the other individual was not injured," Budensiek said, noting that Woods was "lethargic on scene because of what he was intoxicated on."

He also confirmed that Woods had been "alone in the car" at the time of the accident, and said he was "not sure" if he was wearing a seatbelt during the crash.

Shortly before 2 p.m. local time, a pressure cleaner truck pulling a small trailer was northbound on South Beach Road and slowing down to turn into a driveway, Budensiek said.

The driver noticed a Land Rover "overtaking him at high speed," the sheriff added, and the driver of the pressure cleaner truck "tried to edge off to the side of the road, but this is a small two-lane road and there was no shoulder for him to get off."

"As he was trying to move to the side, the Land Rover overtook him at the last minute, swerved to avoid a collision, but clipped the back end of the trailer," he said. "The vehicle then listed to the side and rolled onto the driver's door north past the truck that had just avoided the crash."

Woods climbed out of the passenger door of the Land Rover after the crash. When DUI investigators arrived on the scene, Budensiek said they determined that Woods "did exhibit signs of impairment."

The crash occurred near 281 Beach Road, which is the same town Woods resides in, according to ESPN.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office first confirmed the crash to ABC News.

The outlet reported at the time that Woods' condition was unclear, but an eyewitness told TMZ Sports that they didn't observe any serious injuries at the scene and the golf legend — who just returned to play on March 24 at the TGL Finals and was hoping to compete in The Masters next month — appeared to be okay.

Local NBC affiliate WPTV published a photo of the scene of the accident showing a vehicle tipped over on its side.

Woods was previously injured in a separate rollover car accident in February 2021. The golfer was pulled from the wreck by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics and brought to the hospital after the crash, where he underwent surgery for his injuries.

In 2009, Woods crashed his SUV in the early morning hours of Nov. 27, 2009. He was hospitalized for the incident and said in a statement at the time, "“This situation is my fault and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

The crash on Friday comes just after Woods said he's still dealing with lingering back pain that makes it difficult for him "to just move around" at times.

"The body doesn't quite heal like it was when I was 24," Woods told Golf.com on March 17 as he was discussing his return to play.

"I have good days when I can pretty much do anything, and other days where it's hard to just move around," Woods told the outlet.
